Cool Trivia Fact #2

At the 1908 Olympic Games in London, the marathon distance was changed to 26 miles to cover the ground from Windsor Castle to White City stadium, with 385 yards added on so the race could finish in front of King Edward VII's royal box.

Indoor/Winter Track

Indoor Winter track is about to start.  We practice December through mid-March
The competition moves indoors for the winter. Practices are just as rigorous as the other seasons and the athletes learn to compete despite the “cold”. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete at various venues in the region. The season culminates at an Indoor National Competition.  Read More »

Tip for the Week

To enhance your workouts, add strength training two times a week.  This includes weight training, water resistance training in a pool, uphill running  (downhill running should be minimized), or just plain manual labor.
